43 Lexington Street is our version of a European market stall in an English setting.
We like to keep things simple so the offering here revolves around our core products; roasted and cured meats, cheese, bread and wine.
Assuming you've already started your day with a sensational coffee around the corner in Beak St or at our Café & Wine Bar in St Anne's Court (see above), lunchtime is when things start to hum at Lexington St.
The oak counter gets piled high with sandwiches in ciabatta buns or 'bocadillos' (crusty flutes), which can be grilled and seasoned to taste. Particular favourites are the English Ham with Mature Cheddar and Picalilli; Grilled Chorizo, Roasted Red Pepper, Rocket and Olive Oil; and, made to order, the 36 month cured Jamon Iberico de Bellota with tomato and a drizzle of olive oil (named by the Evening Standard as one of the best sandwiches in London).
There's a daily choice of soup and stew and an array of platters, which can be accompanied by a glass of wine, continuing through the evening until 10 every night of the week.
