The original Fernandez & Wells, a former clothes boutique, opened in January 2007. With hanging hams in the window, slabs of York Stone street paving on the floor and thick oak counter, this is our version of a European market stall in an English setting.
Here the day starts early with delicious coffee from our new 2 group Marzocco Linea and an array of tempting breakfast goodies. These include our own granola with Greek yoghurt, filled savoury croissants, warmed banana sourdough loaf with unsalted butter, or fried eggs and toast. Sandwiches get piled high on the counter from mid morning, with the Grilled Chorizo, Roasted Red Pepper, Rocket and Olive Oil a particular favourite. For lunch we add soup and stew to the mix and our core products, top quality cured meats and cheese come into their own in the evening with a glass of wine.
